Privacy policy

Your application information is collected for recruitment purposes only and is handled as an official record of the Department of Personnel Management.

What we collect

We collect only what is needed to assess your suitability for a position.

  • Identity and contact details from your candidate profile
  • Qualifications, employment history and referee details
  • Documents you upload, including your curriculum vitae and certificates
  • Records of your applications, interview invitations and their outcomes

Who can see it

Access is restricted by role. Recruitment officers see applications for vacancies they administer, and panel members see only the candidates assigned to their session. Every privileged view is written to the audit trail.

How long it is kept

Recruitment files are retained for the period set by the National Archives disposal schedule, then sealed and destroyed under a two-person authorisation.

Your choices

You may correct your profile at any time, withdraw an application before a decision is made, and unsubscribe from job alerts without affecting any application you have lodged.
